Situated conveniently a few minutes from the A14, the venue in Kettering was a natural progression for Three Shires Reflexology.  It meant easy access to a large area where no-one was offering a quality of training that would help students to be able to practice professionally. With low tutor/student ratios Three Shires can give vital one to one support while our students study to gain the UK’s newest qualification, the Professional Reflexology Diploma (PRD). My background is in law. I had worked in busy legal practices for many years and, over a long period of time, this lifestyle had a detrimental affect on my health. I turned to complementary therapies and tried quite a few! Ultimately, I became interested in practicing Reiki which, in turn, lead me to Reflexology. Reflexology had the most profound impression on me holistically. When I decided to study, I wanted to ensure that I had the best training possible. After a lot of research, I found Three Shires and I have never looked back. I have since had the ultimate privilege of returning to Three Shires but this time as a tutor.

I tend to see a lot of clients who are experiencing issues on their fertility journey. This can be an incredibly stressful time for couples and part of my treatment plan can be heavily focused on stress and anxiety. It is a privilege to be on this journey with them, but the ultimate privilege is if their dreams are realised and you get to work with mum and baby. Unfortunately, this is not always the case, and this is where we must focus on managing wellbeing. Teaching this amazing therapy is the biggest reward of all. Sharing the knowledge and watching the student grow is quite honestly the best feeling in the world!
